Rob Schmidt joined the Knudsen Law Firm as an associate in 2020.
Rob is originally from Yankton, South Dakota and moved to Lincoln in 2012 to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he received Bachelor’s of Arts degrees in Political Science, English, and Spanish. During his time in undergrad, Rob served as Interfraternity Council President, was a member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society, was a Senior Counselor for the Nebraska Human Resources Institute and studied abroad in Spain.
In 2017, Rob began law school at the University Of Nebraska College Of Law. After his second year of law school, Rob participated in an accelerated study abroad course at universities in Xi’an and Beijing, China. While in law school, he was a member of the Nebraska Moot Court Board and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Land Use Planning, Comparative Chinese Law, and Insurance Law. The CALI Excellence Award is given to the highest scoring student in each law school class. He received his Juris Doctorate with distinction in May 2020.
In his free time, Rob enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, attending Nebraska Football games and spending quality time with friends and family.
