Laura E. (Pederson) Troshynski
was born and raised in North Platte, Nebraska. She graduated
with high distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in
2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Laura enrolled in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law where she received the Robert R. Veach Scholarship and the Donald T. Meier Scholarship. While in law school, Laura received the McGrath, North, Mullin, & Kratz Excellence in Legal Writing Award, presented to the student with the best overall performance in each first-year legal writing section. Additionally, Laura received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for attaining the highest overall grades in her Corporations and Payment Systems courses. In May of 2009, Laura received her juris doctorate with distinction, and as a third generation College of Law graduate, she was given the opportunity to participate in the Nebraska College of Law Family Tradition Ceremony with her grandfather, father, and husband - all College of Law graduates. She is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court of Nebraska and is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Associations. In addition, she is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado. Laura is actively involved in the Lincoln community as a member of the Junior League of Lincoln and the Gamma Phi Beta House Corporation Board. Laura and her husband, Bill, were married in May of 2009. They enjoy utilizing many of the walking trails Lincoln has to offer. In addition, Laura enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with friends, traveling, and visiting her family in North Platte. |
